Educational Qualification Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government.

Age Relaxation for Meritorious Sportspersons
- General/EWS: 5 years
- SC/ST: 10 years
- OBC (NCL): 8 years
Sports Qualifications
- Represented State/UT/Country in National/International competition, OR
- Medal winner in Junior National Championships / Khelo India Youth Games / Khelo India University Games / School Games Federation of India (SGFI), OR
- Represented University in Inter-University Tournaments, OR
- Represented State/UT School Team in National School Games.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting of applications
- Field Trials (performance evaluation in respective sports)
