CSIR UGC NET December 2026 का official notification और Information Bulletin जारी कर दिया गया है। National Testing Agency (NTA) ने Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2026 के लिए online application process 07 October 2026 से शुरू कर दिया है। इस परीक्षा के जरिए candidates को Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor और Ph.D. admission के लिए eligibility मिल सकती है।

CSIR UGC NET December 2026 के लिए application की normal last date 05 November 2026, रात 11:50 बजे है। इसके बाद Rs. 500 late fee के साथ 06 से 09 November 2026 तक form जमा किया जा सकता है। परीक्षा 19, 22 और 27 December 2026 को Computer Based Test (CBT) mode में आयोजित होगी।

Important: CSIR UGC NET कोई direct government job recruitment नहीं है। यह एक national-level eligibility examination है, जिसके result के आधार पर JRF, Assistant Professor eligibility और Ph.D. admission से जुड़े अवसर मिलते हैं।

Life Sciences Candidates के लिए बड़ा Update

December 2026 cycle में subject का official नाम Life Sciences and Bio-Technology (LS-BT) है। इसके तहत Biochemistry, Biodiversity and Taxonomy, Biotechnology, Botany, Genetics, Microbiology, Physiology, Zoology आदि areas शामिल हैं। DBT fellowships के लिए भी Life Sciences and Bio-Technology subject के through selection किया जाएगा।

CSIR UGC NET December 2026 Eligibility Criteria

1. Master’s Degree से Eligibility

General/Unreserved और General-EWS candidates के पास recognized university/institution से Master’s Degree या equivalent examination में कम से कम 55% marks होने चाहिए।

OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD/PwBD और Third Gender candidates के लिए minimum 50% marks चाहिए। Marks की calculation में rounding off नहीं किया जाएगा।

2. Final Year / Result Awaited Candidates

जो candidates अभी Master’s degree कर रहे हैं, final year में हैं या qualifying examination का result अभी नहीं आया है, वे भी application कर सकते हैं।

लेकिन उनकी candidature provisional रहेगी। उन्हें prescribed percentage के साथ अपनी qualifying degree निर्धारित समय सीमा में complete करनी होगी। JRF/regular eligibility के लिए सामान्यतः result declaration से 2 years की time limit दी गई है, जबकि Ph.D.-only qualification के लिए 1 year की time limit दी गई है।

4-Year Bachelor’s Degree वाले Candidates के लिए Important Rule

यह हिस्सा बहुत से candidates के लिए खास तौर पर important है।

चार वर्षीय या 8-semester Bachelor’s Degree वाले candidates के लिए minimum 75% aggregate marks या equivalent grade required है।

SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD, EWS और applicable reserved categories के लिए 5% relaxation का provision है।

ऐसे candidates:

✅ JRF के लिए eligible हो सकते हैं
✅ Ph.D. admission के लिए eligible हो सकते हैं
❌ Assistant Professor appointment के लिए eligible नहीं होंगे

Official bulletin यह भी बताता है कि 4-year bachelor’s degree वाले candidate उस subject में CSIR UGC NET दे सकते हैं जिसमें वे Ph.D. करना चाहते हैं, भले ही उनका four-year bachelor’s discipline अलग हो।

कौन-कौन सी Degrees Consider हो सकती हैं?

Official bulletin के illustrative list में निम्न qualifications का उल्लेख है:

• BS 4-Year Programme
• B.E.
• B.Tech
• B.Pharma
• MBBS
• Integrated BS-MS / Master’s M.Sc.
• M.Sc. or equivalent

लेकिन सिर्फ degree का नाम पर्याप्त नहीं है। Candidate को अपने qualification, percentage और जिस category के लिए apply कर रहे हैं उसकी eligibility conditions भी पूरी करनी होंगी।

CSIR UGC NET December 2026 Age Limit

JRF

JRF के लिए candidate की age December 2026 में examination conclude होने वाले महीने के first day के हिसाब से 30 years से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए।

Age Relaxation

OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD/PwBD, Third Gender और Women candidates को applicable rules के अनुसार up to 5 years relaxation दिया गया है।

Research experience और armed forces service के लिए भी specified conditions के तहत relaxation का provision है, लेकिन कुल relaxation prescribed limit से आगे नहीं जा सकता।

Assistant Professor

Assistant Professor eligibility के लिए कोई upper age limit नहीं है।

Ph.D. Only

केवल Ph.D. admission category के लिए भी कोई upper age limit नहीं है।

CSIR UGC NET December 2026 में क्या मिलेगा?

CSIR UGC NET का सबसे important feature यह है कि result केवल pass/fail तक सीमित नहीं है। Candidates को तीन अलग eligibility categories में qualify किया जा सकता है।

Category 2 और Category 3 candidates के लिए NET score को Ph.D. admission में entrance test के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। इन categories में written examination marks का 70% weightage और interview/viva का 30% weightage होता है। इनके Ph.D. admission marks की validity result declaration की date से 1 year होती है।

CSIR UGC NET JRF Stipend 2026

यह recruitment salary नहीं बल्कि research fellowship stipend है।

पूरे paper के लिए total 200 marks होते हैं, लेकिन questions की संख्या और attempt limit subject के अनुसार बदलती है।

Translation में Hindi और English version में ambiguity होने पर English version final माना जाएगा।

CSIR UGC NET Qualifying Marks

एक common confusion यह है कि candidates Part A, Part B और Part C के लिए अलग-अलग qualifying marks ढूंढते रहते हैं।

Official bulletin के अनुसार Part A, Part B और Part C का separate cut-off नहीं है। Merit के लिए तीनों parts के cumulative marks को consider किया जाता है।

CSIR UGC NET December 2026 Form कैसे भरें?

Application process पूरी तरह Online है।

Step 1: Registration

अपने active mobile number और email ID से online registration करें। Registration के बाद system-generated Application Number मिलेगा।

Step 2: Application Form

Login करके:

• Personal details
• Educational qualification
• Category details
• Examination subject
• Four exam city choices

भरें।

Step 3: Photograph & Documents

Application में live photograph capture/upload करना होगा। इसके अलावा recent scanned photograph और signature भी upload करना है।

Photograph के लिए bulletin में 10 KB से 200 KB JPG/JPEG format बताया गया है, जबकि signature 10 KB से 50 KB JPG/JPEG में होना चाहिए। Applicable candidates को PwD/PwBD certificate, category certificate या Result Awaited Attestation Form भी upload करना पड़ सकता है।

Step 4: Fee Payment

Applicable application fee online payment mode से जमा करें।

Step 5: Confirmation Page

Successful payment के बाद Confirmation Page download करके सुरक्षित रखें। यही document future reference में बहुत useful रहेगा।

Form भरते समय 7 Important Mistakes से बचें

1. गलत Subject Select न करें

जिस subject में exam देना है, उसे form submit करने से पहले दो बार check करें।

2. Percentage गलत न भरें

55% या 50% eligibility में rounding off allowed नहीं है।

3. OBC-NCL में State List और Central List का फर्क समझें

CSIR UGC NET में OBC-NCL requirement के लिए Central List applicable है।

4. Four-Year Degree Candidates नियम जरूर पढ़ें

75% requirement और Assistant Professor eligibility का rule अलग है। इसे normal Master’s eligibility जैसा न समझें।

5. Four Exam Cities सोचकर भरें

City preference बाद में बदलना आसान नहीं हो सकता और final allotment NTA की administrative feasibility पर depend करता है।

6. Multiple Forms Submit न करें

एक candidate के लिए एक ही application submit करना चाहिए। Same subject के multiple forms में first application को consider किया जाएगा और बाकी automatically reject हो सकती हैं।

7. Confirmation Page जरूर Save करें

Payment successful होने के बाद Confirmation Page download करके mobile और computer दोनों जगह सुरक्षित रखना बेहतर है।

CSIR UGC NET December 2026 में सबसे Important Changes

इस cycle में candidates को खास तौर पर इन points पर ध्यान देना चाहिए:

पहला: Life Sciences का official subject अब Life Sciences and Bio-Technology (LS-BT) के नाम से दिया गया है।

दूसरा: 4-year Bachelor’s Degree वालों के लिए अलग eligibility pathway है। ऐसे candidates JRF और Ph.D. के लिए eligible हो सकते हैं, लेकिन Assistant Professor appointment के लिए नहीं।

तीसरा: CSIR UGC NET result अब तीन qualification categories में meaningful है: JRF + Assistant Professor, Assistant Professor + Ph.D., और Ph.D. Only।

चौथा: Mathematical Sciences के Part C में negative marking नहीं है, जबकि बाकी subjects में negative marking लागू है।

CSIR UGC NET December 2026: Candidates के लिए Practical Strategy

अगर आपका target JRF है, तो सिर्फ minimum 33% या 25% benchmark पर तैयारी करना पर्याप्त नहीं है। Final result में competition और subject-wise merit ज्यादा important होगी।

Part A को हल्के में न लें। यह सभी subjects के candidates के लिए common component है और overall score improve करने का बड़ा मौका देता है।

इसके बाद अपने subject के Part B और Part C पर ज्यादा focus करें। खासतौर पर Part C में scientific concepts को सिर्फ याद करने की जगह application-based preparation जरूरी है क्योंकि यही section higher-order scientific ability test करता है।

Mathematical Sciences candidates के लिए Part C की no-negative-marking policy अलग strategy मांगती है, जबकि Earth Sciences के Part C में relatively higher negative marking होने के कारण guesswork से बचना अधिक important है।
