Eligibility Criteria — Detailed
1. शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Educational Qualification)
- General / EWS: Master’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 55% marks from a UGC-recognized university/institute.
- OBC-NCL / SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: 50% marks in Master’s degree (or equivalent).
- Final year students: जो अंतिम वर्ष के छात्र हैं या परिणाम का इंतजार कर रहे हैं, वे provisional रूप से apply कर सकते हैं (result व certificate बाद में मांगा जा सकता है)।
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech/BS/B.Sc Hons etc.) with ≥75% marks considered eligible for JRF & Ph.D. admission as per UGC norms.
2. उम्र संबंधी सीमा (Age Limit)
- JRF: अधिकतम 30 वर्ष (as on 01.12.2025).
- Age relaxation applicable as per Govt./UGC rules (नीचे देखें)।
- Assistant Professor / Ph.D. Admission: No upper age limit.
3. आयु में छूट (Age Relaxation)
- OBC-NCL / SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender / Women: up to 5 years
- Candidates with research experience: up to 5 years (as per norms)
- L.L.M. degree holders: +3 years
